Our Story, Our Dream Come True

Kimberly and I (Lawrence) are both life and business partners that had a dream to open a lounge/restaurant that is unlike any in the area.

Our lounge is unique...its truly vintage...everything from the distressed floor, the tin ceiling tiles, the furniture and table settings are all unique, and vintage (check out our Photo Gallery).   We personally explored, shopped, and purchased every item within the lounge from places including Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, upstate NY, and North Fork of Long Island. 
 
These road trips were so much fun, and almost every piece obtained has an interesting story behind it.  Ask us the next time you dine with us, and we'll be more than happy to share some of those stories with you.  For example, the planks located around our bar come from a dairy barn built over 100 years ago in Hancock, NY!

Kimberly and I live about 2 mintues from our restaurant...we purposely decided to do so for many reasons, but most importantly,  because of our knowledge of what this area desires (and unfortunately lacks)...a cozy, comfortable, inviting place to meet...a place to relax, make new friends, and to enjoy incredible music (both streamed and live), including jazz, country, reggae, calypso, pop, R&B, disco, blues, and more.  And by combining the above with delicious food, and a fine glass of wine or beer, well, it is our intent to give you many, many reasons to come back again and again.

Our live events are purposely so interesting and varied!  Stand-up Comedians. Trivia Nite. Live Music.  Open Mic. Wine Tastings.  Professional and Social Networking.  Poetry.  Psychic Readings, Speed Dating, Plays, and more!  Reservations requested.
  
Also, we are happy to rent our lounge for private, catered events such as Corporate Tranings/Meetings/Parties, Aniversaries, Retirements, Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Engagements,  Graduations, Grievance gatherings, Fundraising, etc.  See our Catering page for more information.
